Drama as Fiction

While drama is, for the most part, fictional, it is very different from your average fictional story. For one thing, drama must be condensed to dialogue and action. The characters inner thoughts and feelings must be expressed outwardly in drama, while in fiction they can be explained without being expressed. Additionally, fiction has the luxury of being as long as it wants. However, drama must be condensed to an hour or two production.
